Mobile Miniature Farm

News and Events...

Whilst the Mini Farm has been busy, so has the working farm.  We have brought in the cows, goats and llamas for the winter months until the weather gets warmer in spring.  So, as you can imagine, there is a lot of cleaning and feeding to be done each day.

Not forgetting the sheep which are very busy at the moment with lambing.  We lamb our sheep early, ready to meet the Easter trade.  When lambing the sheep you can almost guarantee that there will be some cade (orphan) lambs.  We have 4 at the moment which we are hand feeding.  This alone is a busy job.  Keep a look out for these girls on our Mobile Mini Farm at Easter.

Trouble and Max, the young donkeys, are being brought in to be weaned from their mums.  They are ready to be halter trained for the Mobile Mini Farm.  This will be fun as these boys are very cheeky. I am looking forward to working with Trouble and Max, as are Megan and Maddy, my 2 daughters.  They can’t wait.

Coming up over the next few weeks we will be scanning our cows, goats, ewe lambs, reindeer, llama, miniature horse and donkeys to see if they are pregnant.  This is a very exciting and an important time for the farm, especially to see if the cows and ewe lambs are pregnant as this is where the main income for the farm is generated.

Happy New Year from the Mobile Mini Farm!

The staff at Mobile Mini Farm have been really busy over the Christmas period with the reindeer.  They have been out and about visiting different places and people.  It’s now their time to have a well deserved rest until next Christmas.
